Join us for an engaging day at the NEC Expanded Education Open House! Students of all ages are invited to explore our programming through various events, from auditing classes to attending a performance. 

NEC Expanded Education offers music programs designed to support learners at every age. Whether you are just beginning, returning to music, or taking the next step in your musical journey, our community is built for you.

For Our Youngest Musicians
Hands-on demo classes offer an engaging introduction for beginners and developing musicians. Through activities drawn from our Early Childhood and Contemporary Musical Arts programs, students will explore foundational skills in rhythm, listening, creativity, and collaboration.

Choral Spotlight
Discover our choral pathway for singers of all levels, focused on vocal technique, music literacy, and ensemble artistry. Learn more about the new BSO × NEC Honors Children’s Choir through an audition workshop and info session.

For Musicians at Every Stage
Observe real classes, rehearsals, and performances across the school. Experience how Expanded Education encourages students to grow both as musicians and individuals  through guided instruction and collaborative learning. We will have pop-up performances in our common area programmed all day long!
